The types of poker variations under Shared-card are characterized by the protocol of placing cards, after the players have been dealt each of their own respective dealings, at the center of the table.
The types under Miscellaneous poker variations are games that used the standard ranking of hands but are not using any other protocol identified by other poker family types other than that.
The types under Non-poker variations do not at all use any protocols identified by most poker games.
